Google, Social and Affiliates ad specs

 

 

As discussed in our TB, I’m sharing specs for some of Retail’s on-going advertisements such as google and social (Instagram, Facebook) ad specs sheet for your reference. Please save onto your desktop for future use.

 

Highlighted below are the most common retail ads, Google, Social and Affiliates with specs.

 

 

Google (no CTAs): ==> Google’s has in-platform message bar with CTA

 

 

Changed -> only the highlighted specs are required for google

 

 

 

Social (need CTAs) - instagram ==> Instagram’s brand logo + CTA placements

  • Story- 9:16
  • Post- 1:1

 

 

 

Another important channel is our Affiliates partners, whose specs are not on the attachments.

For Affiliates, please note the following 4 specs (need CTAs):

  • 160x600
  • 300x250
  • 300x600
  • 728x90  

 

 

 

 

 

Prior to the start of any of these ad creations, we will overview the creatives altogether which will help clarify the process.

 

 

 

 

 

 

I am adding notes below for call to action (CTAs) for each type of ad creative as I forgot to include this as part of my previous send.

 

Common examples of CTAs we use, “SHOP NOW”, “SEE HERE”, “VIEW MORE”, “LEARN MORE”, “SIGN UP” etc.  This is an important feature to the ad creatives as some are intended to redirect traffic back to our site.

 

 

 

 

 

Sharing what the ads look like once creatives get uploaded to Facebook/Instagram and Google so you have visual reference. 

Note, the in-app graphic overlays and CTAs.

 

For example, Google’s has in-platform message bar with CTA and Instagrams brand logo + CTA placements.
